Fox was confident that you would. But those words are significant, if you care about significance. "Among other things" means that this particular aspect was just one of several if not many details in the research and thus doesn't tell you anything about the value of the study. Fox tells you nothing about what the research was really about and then proceeds with a poll about how outraged people are about something they know next to nothing. And 90% of the respondents did exactly as prompted. That is a pretty good summation of the state of conservates in America today: "I want to be outraged and don't care how much you have to deceive me to do it!" Once all conservatives adopt random capitalization the transformation will be complete. |
