Message Replied To ========== Very good question - if government is the enemy, how come so many Republicans want to increase defense spending? The Atlantic on the cognitive dissonance of the 2nd Amendment hardliners. ============================== Government has imperative roles. Government responsibilities are to: provide national defense, protect citizens from abuse from other citizens such as crime, define property right and the rules of the free markets, and adjudicate disputes between citizens. Government is good and imperative when it sticks to effectively fulfilling those responsibilities.
This what can your country do for you government espoused by modern liberals is the enemy, and the potential destruction of our great nation. |
