Many of you here know of my grandson's illness, as well, many of you have also joined in our fight to help Evan get a bone marrow transplant to beat this disease. Without the bone marrow transplant, we would certainly lose him. 

On Friday Evan entered All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg to begin several rounds of chemotherapy, which ultimately will prepare him for the transplant. The transplant is currently scheduled for April 15tth and he is expected to remain at All Children's for at least 30 days after the transplant. We feel blessed to have so many people supporting us with their prayers and acts of generosity and kindness. 

I want to thank all of you here that have extended support and prayers for our family, and to the administrators on this site for allowing me to bring this cause to this forum. Thank you!

As many of you may know. Evan's sister Scarlett is going to be the donor for the transplant. Please keep Scarlett in your prayers as well, she is very brave and sweet little girl. She seems to truly understand and care about Evan's condition.
