Dexter Smith is the Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid. Prior to joining Campbell Law, he was the Director of Admissions at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. While in Florida, Dexter served on the Florida Bar Board of Governors – Young Lawyers Division, the LSAC Subcommittee on Misconduct and Irregularities in the Admissions Process, as well as remaining an active member of the University of Florida Gator Athletics Letterwinner organization – the F Club.

Dexter received his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, with a focus in Education. Dexter served as the Southern Region Black Law Student Association’s Sub-Regional Director and was appointed by the University of Florida Provost as the only student representative on the Levin College of Law Dean Selection Committee.

Dexter’s responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic efforts for the recruitment of prospective students, managing the financial aid and scholarship awarding process, and continual relationship building with all constituencies of Campbell Law.
