Message Replied To ========== Tebow's faith is not exactly unpopular Percentage of male professional athletes in major sports who are Christian? 70%? 80%? Percentage of male professional athletes in major sports who are openly gay? <0.1%? If Tebow is criticized and it has anything to do with his faith, it must be the way he wears it publicly, because it definitely isn't the faith itself. Personally I think other guys probably think he comes across as sanctimonious, and it's that-- what they may see as an act-- rather than what he believes that gets under people's skin.============================== If Tim were a devout Muslim or Jewish, no one would be accusing him of sanctimony. |
