| Wife works for local county library. Helped her today do some errands to the branches. In one of the local branches they have a Memorial Day exhibit up already. As a history buff and Veteran I always stop to learn about other Veterans and their stories. Well front and center in the exhibit was a actual World War II Western Union telegram announcing someone's Ultimate Sacrifice for our country. this gentleman died fighting in France in late July of 44. I admit it stopped me and made my daily worries go away. Thank you to this gentleman and his fellow World War II Veterans for my Freedom. |
