The SEC is the marquee conference when it comes to athletic excellence and an outsider might think the All Sports Trophy has been evenly distributed award these past two decades.
Alabama gets (deservedly) all the attention in football and women's gymnastics, Kentucky the same (not deservedly) in basketball, Tennessee (deservedly) in women's basketball, LSU in baseball, etc. etc. Yet no one (outside of those affiliated with UF) ever seems to recognize the hob nail, throat stomping, suffocating dominance of the UF athletic program under the leadership of Jeremy Foley, the best AD in America.
Congrats to Jeremy Foley, coaches, players, UAA staff and boosters that made this achievement possible. UF is the athletic standard in the SEC and has done so with ZERO NCAA infractions over the past 20+ years!
Go ahead and tip your hat SEC friends . . . it won't kill you. |
