Message Replied To ========== There has been so much negativity... about America and Americans (in general). Some speculating that we aren't as good as those in other places. It is nice to read and hear stories like this. Stories of the human spirit and strength. Stories about how humanity can do very special things. I'd like to think that there are more like Ms. Crosswhite then there are those who prefer to do harm. We hear so much about the bad stories, but I believe that the good ones deserve the most attention because they better reflect our society and our species. At least, that is what I hope and choose to believe. ============================== in harms way to protect their kids. They don't get enough compensation or respect for the extraordinary things they do as part of their jobs, and it sure doesn't show up in a teacher's evaluation for merit pay. |
