Message Replied To ========== Am I the only one that if they were fortunate enough to sign for $40M. . . . that I would be a choir boy. . .in by 11pm, give up most every vice, and go to church twice on Sunday. Hell, I'd be so grateful, I'd wear Gator jammies every night! What is it with so many pro athletes that they cannot handle success? ==============================teachers help them with their grades, they get every single rule bent that can be bent, are recruited by top-notch universities and sweet-talked about how great they are, adored by millions of fans, tutored to keep up their grades, maybe slipped a few bucks by a helpful booster or agent, then given millions of dollars at the age of 21 or so without having proven a thing on the field. Can't imagine why so many can't handle themselves like decent members of society. |
