Chris Rix fsu - He has finally put his past behind him, become dedicated and a team leader, will take the team back to the promised land. May win the Heisman, he will be that good. UF - Bozo the clown Redux. Follows a great play or game with a bonehead interception or just sleeps through the game altogether. Has looked good in the offseason but this leapord won't change his spots. Glad this headcase is at fsu, he will fall apart at the first hint of adversity Greg Jones fsu - Best RB in America. Absolute Beast and fully recovered from injury UF - Fully recovered? No RB has ever come back from this injury in less than a year, chances are this kid will be tentative early on and may do himself further injury if played much as a result. Good back but the injury makes him a question. Chris Leak fsu - a lot of hype, no way this guy will be any good. Zook lied to get him. he will never beat fsu. He may start this year because Ingle and Gavin are pathetic. UF - The single most promising Freshman QB seen on the UF camus in memory. The kid has already logged more film time than DOug Johson did his entire career,. Heady, good arm, cool in under pressure. He already has the confidence of the entire team and he has not started fall practice yet. May start this year and destined for extreme greatness. But Ingle has looked very good so far and Gavin is extremely talented, Leak has tough competition to see the field. fsu OL fsu - 3 of the guys started last year, this is a great looking line, just needs time and reps. Last year's bunch was over-rated anyway. UF - Swiss cheese has fewer holes. Depth as thin as a super-model's waistline, the first injury to a starter could cripple this patchwork group altogether. Soph/Jr players being backed up by FR/Soph usually spells disaster here. UF OL fsu - A joke. They were lousy last year, they will be worse this year. fsu's great DL will dominate them. A bunch of JuCo Jokes were signed in an attempt to shore this group up but they won't help. UF - The Center and left side of our line has an All American look. Some great talent was signed in the offseason, 3 JC AA's who are just absiolute physical beasts. They add a lot of depth. With the return of Colon from back surgery, Hand's late year emergence, and the surprise blossoming of Lance Butler we lookset at tackle. RG has a bevy of candidates, but they are all big, physical, nasty men who can do the job. Looks to be a real team strength, they will dominate most DL's they face. UF front seven fsu - A total joke. No talent, no experience. This group will be among the NCAA's worst. UF - Talent everywhere, experience not. Total ?. No idea how the DT's will shape up, the DE's look to be in much better shape experience wise. LB's have some possible answers, will have to wait and see how they respond in game situations. Too early to even guess how this group will turn out, could be bad, could be good depending on some young kids and how they develop. Ran Carthon fsu - Over-hyped, an average back with little chance to succeed behind a sucky line. UF - Speed and power. He has a shot at a great year, has all the tools and a good line in front of him. Dallas Baker fsu - Please. Hype all the way. Slow. Can;t be as good as the Gators say, tired of hearing about him. UF - Watch out world, this guy wil be a weapon. Lorenzo Booker fsu - domoinated in the spring, the next superstar fsu RB. Fast and strong and a great kid. UF - fsu paid to steal this guy from ND. Why? He dominated a pathetic Nole DL decimated by injury in the spring and has never doe anything on the field. He is slow and small. Joe Cohen fsu - He was lied to, he only went to UF because Nelson did.He is fat and mentally soft. Zook lied to him, will never play him at RB, will be forced to play DE UF - One UF coach called him our Christian Okoye. This guy is at RB until he chooses to move, he is working hard ot get down to the proper weight, A beast, naturally storng, very impressive guy who can play several positions. Overall the fsu theme is Zook lied, lied, lied to all players about almost everything. Play time, positions, you name it. UF is worse this year than last year and is about to disappear from the football map. fsu OTOH is stocked,m they are on the way back to the top and may be in New Orleans this year where they belong. The past two years were mere aberrations. And al of the injured players fsu had last year are now 100%, none of them will show any lingering effects, and all of the young kids they are counting on for depth will come through in AA fashion. fsu will have the #1 recruting class too and Bowden will coach another ten years at least. There are NO problems with the NCAA, no one has accused fsu of cheating, AD was a single incident of a kid gone wrong, Minnux is the greatest and handled the gambling probe in exemplary fashion. The 800 page reprot was done by Gator homer cops hoping to embarrass fsu, the consutlatn study proved fsu only had a few tiny problems (All sicne corrected of cours) and the NCAA is NOT looking into anything, probably measuring fsu for a complaince award. Overall UF fans...Well let's just say their views differ
