2006. According to the signed contract, Miami received 10,000 tickets

for the 2008 game at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Florida received 12,500

tickets for Saturday, but according to a report from the Associated

Press, only 800 are in the lower bowl.

the reason you cite being merely indicative of the attitude of those associated with that program.  Crappy facilities, horrendous (even life-threatening) treatment by their "fans", unsportsmanlike behavior on and off the field of play, thug mentality, win-at-all costs .... including cheating on an industrial scale, and more.  South Carolina, Notre Dame, Maryland, UF, and a couple of others said, "enough".  Yes, the "U" was very good in football during much of that 10-12 year period, but at what cost?  It should be noted that the attitude, problems, and cheating persisted over several school administrations and numerous coaching staffs in the program.  Wouldn't bother me if we never played them again, regardless the series record or what their so-called "fans" have to say about it, on message boards or the airwaves.  With acknowledgement to their (relatively few) decent fans and some actual alumni, I had my fill of their crap years ago and am certain I'm not alone in my feelings.
