After reading the back and forth and squabbling below, it seems that the one thing we all have in common might have gotten lost--we all want success on the field. The rest about how to get there (e.g., Muschamp will be crowned king of football in 3 years to Muschamp is a rank amateur who should move to the Canadian league)is just noise in the system. Ahhh...damn. Sorry about that. Flashbacks again. 

I hope everyone slept well and have clearned the um filth out of your eyes and can accept that it is all correctable. Ahhhhh!! Again. I am really sorry. I'll stop now.

Muschamp and Pease are trying to develop a smash mouth type of offense that requires us to develop an o-line and receiving corps that are drastically different than the spread type offense we had before. That is not going to happen overnight, typically 3-4 years to make that change. I get that. I really do. And I see improvements in our offense..we did move the ball and control the clock quite well yesterday. I am NOT calling for a replacement at QG or coaching change.

My criticism for the coaches falls in that we KNOW we are not there yet, but our play calling got Zookishly cutesy with that two point conversion attempt and stubborn with all the run up the middle attempts -especially that fourth and one attempt. Our offensive play calling put us behind and put us in a position where we were more prone to make mistakes. We should have put points on the board by kicking the PAT and the FG. If we had, then we would not have fallen so far behind and we could have won the game with just a field goal..heck, I think we could have avoided our last interception and our last fumble (with subsequent UM touchdown) if we had not placed ourselves in a position where we were desperate for touchdowns.

I know the mantra has always been that you can't win by settling for field goals..but I think that, with our defense, we CAN win with field goals, and we should get points anyway we can.

The season is still salvageable. There is a lot to play for.

P.S.: For how low we may regard Miami fans..I am getting a whole heck of a lot more grief from the Noles I know than from anybody else.
