Message Replied To ========== I seriously think voters should be required to take a small test before they vote. With the computerized voting systems, the machine would pull 10 random questions from a pool of questions. They would be very basic Civics questions that anyone that has an ounce of common sense or education would answer correctly. If the voter could not answer 7 out of 10 of the questions, his/her vote would be tossed. It's incredible how many people know the names of every pop star yet cannot tell you that President Obama is a Democrat or his stance on major issues. Voting should be seen as a serious responsibility, and if a person does not take the time to educate themselves on the government and how it functions, they should not be allowed to vote. ============================== Since we're ruling out people for being too ignorant to vote and all.
