There was no TE on his side. There are no RB to help block.

Ela who had been in our backfield all day was lined up on Garcia's outside shoulder. We snapped the ball and Garcia blocks down inside with the RG on the DT and Ela has a free run and nails Murphy before he can even turn around and look for a receiver.

This is OL coaching/play 101. The OT cannot alllow a player on his outside shoulder a free run when he knows he has no help in the backfield.

This is taught in pop warner.

of even reasonably decent pass protection.  That transcends playcalling, offensive philosophy, and individual playcalls.  It has kept us from getting in any sustained rhythm.  It has been suspect all year, but totally exposed during the past two weeks.

While we can't expect the talent to improve significantly, we can expect the coaches to make adjustments that put us in a better position to work around the flaws.  That's why they get paid the big bucks.

The georgia game will be the determining game for me.  By then, the sample size will be big enough(for me) to form a stronger opinion.
