Message Replied To ========== So, when the time comes do you trust Foley to pick a coach....his track record is pretty dismal. Hires: Zook, Muschamp and he talked the mentally deficient Urban Meyer into staying as a virtualy uninvolved consultant. Contrary to some popular misconceptions he did not hire Spurrier ( Ben Hill Griffin did ) and he did not hire Urban ( Bernie Machen did.) Oh,I almost forgot, Charley Strong for one game. Matter of fact his greatest hire, Billy D, worked out because we were the farthest thing from a basketball school imaginable. If Billy was hired as the football coach I am afraid he would have been long gone before he could finish the process of learning on the job. I am simply asking, given his football coach picking record, do you trust him next time around ? ============================== when you fire him over this . . . please let us know I would LOVE to have him at Auburn. |
