You can support this team and this University and still be vocal about your belief that this coaching staff isn't doing a good job and doesn't seem to have the skill to turn things around. I've supported UF my whole life. My father supported UF his whole life as did his father. There have been plenty of coaches that didn't work out. Should we have stuck with them forever?

I've said it here plenty of times before.....I don't care if we ever win another NC. I never expected to win one as it was, much less 3. I enjoy the games, but Florida football isn't much fun now and it's not because we're losing. It's because the product on the field is poor. Cheering 3 yard runs? Hell, that sounds like this whole season.

I applaud the efforts of everyone surrounding the team, especially the kids. I do. They're working hard. I defended Reid Fleming, a local kid, when just about everyone here was calling him a bum. By all accounts, Reid worked very hard and played his best for the Gators, his lifelong dream. He earned his scholarship. His best wasn't great, but he wasn't getting paid $3M/yr to play football.

Are the coaches working hard....are they putting forth a great deal of effort? I'm sure they are. The thing is, effort doesn't equal success. Hard work doesn't equal success. Go push on a brick wall for a while. If you don't move it, you haven't even done any work, but you sure have put forth some effort. The coaches are getting paid asinine amounts of money for their efforts, with the understanding that their efforts need to bring results in the form of a Championship quality football team.

I will cheer like crazy for this team, just like I did when we went 0-10-1. I will suffer defeats just like I did when that m#therf@cker BB hooked up with that sonofab!tch LS and ripped my heart out, but I don't need Carlos trying to tell me that those defeats made winning so much sweeter. That's bullchit. And don't try to tell me that I should just wait for next year when the coaching staff is trashing the reputation of Gator football. ESPN didn't read my posts on the VS and decide to do a mock trial asking whether or not Muschamp should be fired. Muschamp did that to himself.

You are not supporting by the team by criticizing those who are supporting the team. Look, we all see the same things you see. I don't like what is happening any more than you do but I can still get behind Muschamp and the team and hope that he can turn this around without having to call for his head. The reason I can do that is that I have faith that Foley and others will assess the sitation at the end of the year and make the right decision. If they have to make that decision even sooner, so be it. Heck, if we lose to Georgia Southern, I don't think the coach stays another day. But I am not going to get on message boards and call for the coach to be fired and then criticize everyone who does not have the same view. It is not helping the program. That was the point of article. He is not saying have blind faith in the team. I have faith in the coaches and the team, but even more, I have faith that there are people who can actually make decisions about the coaching staff that have much more invested in Gator football than I do.

I attended the University of Florida, I am a Gator for life. This is not the NFL where you can switch teams if you don't like your current one. I suffer every loss as does every one else. My Saturday's revolve around Gator football but I also have a life, except of course when I am posting here. I don't have the time and energy to get behind a campaign to oust the current coaching staff. I will leave that to the fine persons that run this University and Althletic Department. We have been blessed with a long run of quality persons that run the University. They will do the right thing. I will also do the right thing and stay behind the current team and coaches.
