he has a lot of influences.  He plays ball with some kids and a coach that are UGA fans and my most recent ex-girlfriend was a UGA grad and he really liked her, so I guess some of it is on me.  His mother's boyfriend is a Nole and they are so fun to watch and winning so big that it is hard not to be entertained and enamoured of them if you are still develooping a team identity like he is.  His mom is a hard core Gator and she is his biggest influence, so I suspect if we can garner any type of success or momentum we can get him back. Which might come in valuable because he is already looking like a heck of a baseball prospect.

But the day after you lose to Ga. Southern at the end of a 4-8 season where you've lost to Miami, Vandy at home for Homecoming, and are a matter of days away from getting  blown out in the Swamp by FSU it is hard to feel very positive about the program.  But maybe Champ hires Kerwin Bell  and we keep Grier and with his arm and savvy as a coach's son he leads a Manziel type offensive turnaround and we go 10-2 and get right back on track.

Oh, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't take shots at my kid. You want to take shots at me like you have on many occasions then that's fine. I knew it was a mistake to take you off Ignore, but I figure it is all hands on deck now after such a program defining loss.

perspective. I'm an 80s Gator... suffered through many losses to UGA and FSU during that time.. never wavered even though most of the kids that I went to elementary school with were either fans of UGA and FSU or had mommies and daddies that were boosters of either school... was taught at an early age that if you are going to be a fan, be a loyal fan. So I watched the Gators and I watched the Bucaneers go 2-14 (sure would have been easier to be a Dolphin fan back then) every year until Jacksonville was awarded the Jaguars and I took my ribbing as it came. Of course, the Bucs get good as soon as the Jags show up but I can't cheer against my hometown team. Anyway, 30 years later, I'm still here and will be until I drop dead.
