Let's call them weak-willed fear mongers . Seems like the perfect compliment to mouth-foaming reactionaries.

They were scared to cut bait when Zook was at the helm and they are scared now and if the stench of fear fits...

Nobody is suggesting firing everybody with no remedial plan in place. A plan should have been developed two or more weeks ago.

As for firing Foley, I've been on record as not wanting Foley sacrificed. That is why I have been so adamant that he not hitch his reputation to Muschamp's unique brand of incompetence. Foley is, after all, one of the best ADs in college athletics.

But even the great Foley makes mistakes. He hired Zook and he hired an inexperienced Muschamp.

So it is fair to criticize his judgments in regards to football hires.

Now back to the main topic.

IF we follow the weak-willed, fear-based approach to program management, then today was also a mistake. After all, MUSCHAMP was "reactionary" in firing Pease after this abysmal season. He did this even though HE recognized that Pease is a "great coach." Not just that, but does Muschamp have the next great OC in mind already? The VS has yet to reach consensus on that, at least to the point that would make the WWCs feel comfortable...

Ut oh...

Or is it only reactionary if we are talking about firing the HBC?

and this isn't directed necessarily all at you...but holy crap, it's just the constant rehashing and wallowing in negavity...the absolute postive belief that you (not you in particular) know better than everyone including the top of the UF AD....the continued practice of extracting the worst possibly spin on anything Gator Football.  It's fine and we all share most of the same beliefs...it's just so #badword#ing negative.
