too pleased with Duke's 48 points last night.  I was talking to a buddy before the game and we set the over/under at 81 points - that is, under 81, there would be people questioning if the guy could coach offense, over 81, and we would have a mostly happy group of laptop OC's.

I got news for you wannabe OC's..... coaching was certainly a big part of our problem the last few years on offense, but the bigger issue is that we do not have anything more than middle of the road D1 offensive talent.  I know all you recruitniks wanna point to the trophy room full of stars, but the proof is in the pudding - lots of our stars didn't pan out, and that's not always on coaches.  If a guy can go to Duke and coach up Duke level talent so that they can score 48 points vs. an SEC defense, I'm willing to give him a chance.  We need better coaching, but we need better players, too.
