Was I the only one with severely mixed emotions about the Sugar bowl?

I don't hate Bama, in fact I actually tend to like them BUT

- I'm sorry but they've won too damn much in the last several years.  They need to have their hearts ripped out several times just like the rest of us....especially considering they were the ones who really did it to us the last time in 2009 ruining what would have been our perfect season national championship which everybody around us can seem to get but which somehow remains the impossible dream when it comes to us getting it....oh and several of them from players to fans acted like titanic A-holes when they won that game.

- the media knob-gobbling of Saban and Bama is and has long been over the top.  We sure as hell never get that kind of slobbering when we have long periods of being up.  No.  We get every sort of potshot and every bit of mud anybody could possibly imagine slung at us - relentlessly.  Our coach is automatically a terrible human being.  Our players are all thugs.  We are arrogant and we cheat.  Every.  Damn.  Time.  WTF is up with that?

- in addition to having vastly less interest in any bowls, I feel less SEC solidarity when we suck to badly to even be in a bowl.

- Big game Bob is a loudmouthed A-hole who needs to get another giant piece of humble pie courtesy of the SEC (after last year's asswhipping by the Aggies) stuffed down his fat mouth.

- The Okie or at least one helluva lot of them are even worse than Bob.  Defensive....petty....childish...delusional....butt-hurt....jerkoffs.  The ONLY good thing I can say about them after getting more exposure to them the last 4-5 years is that they are better than Whorns.

- The SEC haters....Okies and Whorns are among the worst but the same description applies to many of them.  Its all a giant ESPN conspiracy.  Its not that SEC is a really deep conference with good teams.  Why, they didn't even belong in those national title games most of the time.  The fact that they beat the teams from other conferences EVERY SINGLE TIME is just irrelevant.  Doesn't matter.  Nope.  Not important.  Better overall bowl record?  Better BCS bowl record?  More players drafted by the NFL BY EACH SEC DIVISION than any other conference?  ESPN Conspiracy.  You see, ESPN hasn't invested any money in any other conference.  Not at all.  The boys in Bristol, Connecticut just love them some SEC and hate everybody else.  Oh look!  An SEC team actually lost a bowl game!  Why....let's all fap ourselves silly for the rest of the year!

Its a shame ALL of the above cannot lose, have their hearts ripped out and stomped flat right in front of their forelorn faces.  Thank you.  I feel much better now having expressed this.  Laughing

Osama bin Laden could have suited up at QB for a Pol Pot-coached Oklahoma team and I would have pulled for them over Bammer. Root against Bammer 10 times out of 10 or you risk upsetting the very delicate balance that holds the universe together. I may be overstating this, but I don't believe so.

Last night was beautiful.

"If we want to resist the powers which threaten to suppress intellectual and individual freedom we must keep clearly before us what is at stake, and what we owe to that freedom which our ancestors have won for us after hard struggles.

Without such freedom there would be no Shakespeare, no Goethe, no Newton, no Faraday, no Pasteur, and no Lister. There would be no comfortable houses for the mass of the people, no railway, no wireless, no protection against epidemics, no cheap books, no culture, and no enjoyment of art for all. There would be no machines to relieve the people from the arduous labor needed for the production of the essential necessities of life. Most people would lead a dull life of slavery just as under the ancient despotisms of Asia. It is only men who are free, who create the inventions and intellectual works which to us moderns make life worth while."
