Message Replied To ========== Made me happy. Tebow would've done better tonight. * ============================== Manning is one of the top 10 quarterbacks to play the game of football. There were only 5 or 6 teams in the league that would pass on picking up a QB like that. In fact, if teams knew his back injury wouldn't have limited him, arguably only the Patriots would have likely stayed with their QB. It was the mismanagement of Tebow after they acquired Manning that made the organization bush league. They basically said, you're not good enough to be our second-team QB, but you're also not bad enough to go to any team you want. Tebow and his agent were VERY generous with the contract they offered Denver when he initially signed with them. Then they turn around and say "you can only go to a handful of teams we chose and they have to buy out your signing bonus and your contract. good luck." Him wasting a year with the Jets set his development back and made him a high risk to any team after that. The media didn't help, but the Broncos could have been BROS to the first quarterback to win a playoff game in their franchise in like 10 years and not been complete dicks about it. |
