And I heard something almost like criticism of Manning yesterday on the NFL network, although it didn't quite get to that level. You aren't allowed to question or criticize Manning though and if looks could kill this guy wouldn't have walked out of the studio. But  he did say it looked like Peyton caused the first play safety and it sure looked that way to me. And he said the pick 6 was on Peyton and that didn't go over well either, as it was obviously the offensive line and the receiver and the cold and Peyton's underwear were too tight and whatever other stupid excuse they can come up with.

Amazing the difference between how Manning has been handled since day 1 in the NFL and Tebow. What a striking divergence in treatment. What an incredibly crappy first season Manning had but it was all apologies and excuses and how great he would be and how he just need patience and support.

Tebow is attacked and belittled even in his final bowl game when he put up a record passing peformance in the Sugar Bowl, then proceeds to get thrown in the fire for a 1-4 team that he somehow leads to the playoffs and a first round win over Pittsburgh. And then gets flushed down the toilet by the same NFL people who are still too busy fellating Peyton to realize he actually played terrible in the Super Bowl, and all the salary cap space he is eating might have actually hamstrung that team and its ability to compete with Seattle.

Imagine if Tebow had been treated like Manning from day 1 and had been invested in and promoted and encouraged like Mr. Silver Spoon himself, the great Peyton. It is sickening and one of the reasons I despise the old school NFL asses and was so happy to see them all eat crow as a college coach with a college QB running a college system took apart their sacred cow and stuffed their stodgy, elitist NFL attitude right up their butts.  Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
