I vividly remember sitting in Alligator Alley and watching UF struggle with the Twin Towers from UK...or the Ernie and Bernie Show from UT....and others. To have a Hall of Fame coach...and a Hall of Fame person....for more than 30 years (yes, I'm projecting)....to have a program second to none in the country. Oh, we owe some of it to the UF administration for the support they've given him...but, really, it is all about Billy, Bill Sr., and Christine. If you had told me any of this would come...back in the days sitting in Alligator Alley....well, I probably would have called for the guys with the wrapped-tight jackets. Billy and his family have given more to UF than we can ever give back. |
