Dems come up with a number that show that women make ~77% pay of men and has everybody in an uproar. What they of course fail to mention is that this is true when factoring in ALL jobs. So essentially they lumped teachers, hairstylists, social workers, accountants, etc with lawyers, engineers, plumbers, electricians, scientists, etc. What they also fail to mention that women form a higher % of lower paying jobs like, for example, elementary education teachers and social workers. A recent bureau of labor study that they also discussed during the show showed that when you look at same job, same experience, the gap closes to about 1-2%. Both panelists agreed. ITs purely a political ploy that you fell for to boost the dems as they see big trouble brewing in upcoming elections due to the obamacare fiasco. I just shook my head with obama surrounded by a bunch of pissed off, yet gullible women preying on peoples emotions. |
