Message Replied To ========== The bottom 80% doesn't have anything to pay.... That's how severe wealth disparity has become in this country. See it's everybody's problem. ============================== 90% or 25% or 50% of something leaves the balance of 100% of whatever was earned. You can suggest that many don't have "enough" on which to live, based on somebody's definition of sufficient or what is required. You can truthfully state that one may have less remaining than another based on the starting point for each. However, when we as a nation reach the point where we cannot all share in the support of our government (fiscal and otherwise), we are beginning on the downhill slope towards the end of our republic ..... no matter how disparate the wealth may be distributed among its citizens. |
