"Define inequality. I am not and absent the lottery most likely will never be...."

Our Nobel Prize winning Brother Shiller at Yale....

says we need to index taxes to inequality. That seems far more feasible.

part of the 1%. However neither I not anyone else in my 'socio-economic' group, if you will, suffers from inequality or a wealth gap. Inequality derives from a lack of opportunity. For the most part the 'lack of opportunity' is a myth. When I walk out onto the manufacturing floor, I see people all over making $13-$18/hr getting into a $50K Expedition or Camaro for the ride home. When my tells me of her day, I hear of the family with 4 kids getting free lunch while mom drives a brand new escalade with side steps that lower themselves to help you in. The left is fond of attempting to make the examples above out to be the exception. They are not. Walk into any manufacturing operation throughout the country, time after time after time, individuals are turning opportunity into debt. Add in the overwhelming incentive provided by the g'ment to pass up opportunity because it is more financially feasible to be a dependent than a contributor and the end result is inequality. Only it isn't born of a lack of opportunity, it is by design, part of an ideology. Liberalism by definition requires a dependent class a victim class and by definition a ruling class to oversee the others. To ensure they follow the strict needs of the g'ment. Without these classes, liberalism dies. Why? Because with wealth and achievement comes individual decisions. Individual decisions do not fit with the collective mentality.

And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"
