blaming the collective outrage on the rape allegations. Some say that those bothered by the shop lift can't let go of the botched rape investigation. Well...I can't speak for others...but for me...they are right. I won't let that go. He should NOT have won the Heisman. His ass should be in jail or on bail awaiting a rape trial. For me, Winston wasn't vindicated because the corrupt systems at FSU and the TPD kept justice from being administered. Had he stood trial and prevailed, I wouldn't have this resentment. I won't apologize for my resentment. He represents everything wrong with college athletics. He is the living, breathing embodiment of every criticism that challengers have lodged at college football, a sport that I dearly love. This crab leg fiasco is just another example of that. |
