I am loathe to call Republicans conservative because they aren't, but conservative factions such at the Pauls do rock the boat on the Republican side. I do see the blind loyalty lemming mentality on this board and in the Democrat party in general though, so I get your point. It is mind boggling to see otherwise intelligent people go all in to defend the most open administration in history (what a complete joke), but that is where we are at as a nation it seems: much  more interested in defending your side and your leadership than actually considering all the options and potential compromises.

As I said a long, long time ago, Republicans should be required to remove "Conservative" from the moniker, advertising and be disassociated from the word completely.

Any party that brought us the TSA, Medicare part D, NSA explosion, two wars (only one of which was justified), and doubling the debt everytime they had a POTUS, then that doesn't qualify as conservative.  the only Conservative thing about them is their ability to think anything other than conservative on social issues.
