While there are very few in this world I would wish harm upon, too bad there isn't a way for ensure the most ardent supporters of Obamacare (himself included)are the first one's to face the consequences of healthcare rationing. To think the VA is not giving us a preview of what is to come is to simple poke one's fingers in their ears and sing La La La La La!. The VA is a g'ment run single payer system. Perhaps we could set up a dual system. Ditch the ACA and go back to where we were and create a second single payer system that is for just those who want the g'ment to provide their healthcare. Catch is, when you have to wait six months to have a tumor removes that will kill you in three months, you don't get to switch programs. Oh, and every single person must pay a minimum premium amount of no less than 10% of any income regardless of the source. If all f your income comes from g'ment assistance, 10% reduction, next.

Moreover, as the single payer, the VA bears the risk of loss: If tax dollars aren't enough to pay for the care demanded, there's only one result - rationing of care.

Rationing care can take many forms. It can be overt, like the Canadian or British health care systems, which have unambiguous, publicly-announced waiting times and coverage denials for certain procedures. Or rationing can be more subtle, with little or no public participation. This latter, covert form of rationing is what the VA has adopted.

That it turns into a single payer option. I'd like to see the crash and burn (horribly) of the insurance industry.

I'd like to see the US join the ranks of other first-world countries rather than continue to drop in quality of health care.
