my girls attach to softball but sitting in a million gyms full of screaming female volleyball players earned my medal!

My youngest and I watched. It was really cool to see a kid at our house (where mom bids for Auburn fandom) sitting and watching girls play really really well.

This past spring on the way home to ATL we drove through campus. My youngest plays high level soccer, and we drove by the fields ..lacrosse, the fitness center, soccer, you name it. She suddenly got it. FL has some terrific facilities. This, after she spent a summer camp at Auburn for soccer and had coaches asking her to come back this year. She said "I could go here -Gainesville."

Playing on ESPN, with fans making noise for OUR gators was a cool thing to see. So you see, I'm a gator. We drive to bball in Athens to watch, catch gymnastics and see a full house, and now see the young women doing the school proud. Tell my daughter- a fierce competitor, skilled athlete, and super loyal sports fan that HER sport means less than football? NEVER
