I care the most about whatever gator sport is on at the time. If I tried I might be a me to make up some percentages based on seasons.

Since there is little overlap, I'd say DURING THE SEASON football is 100%. Basketball starts early so during those first few weeks interest is low... then ramps up, is at the top at sec tourney/march madness time, then down from there.

I care A LOT about baseball towards the end of the season. I cared about gators softball 100% the past 2 weeks. 10 years ago I can't find the softball field aon campus. Now my family seems to know when "Hannah" is pitching well. I've told the story to SEC fans about why the gators wore a yellow flower during the tourney. So it does matter ... this week. I can't tell you the two deep roster at safety today, but call me October 1st and I'll not only tell you the two deep, but their favorite book and horoscope signs.

It's like life. I have many passions, just no way I can give or care 100% about all of them ALL the time. I LOVE bourbon, especially during friday nights in football season. In June, at the beach, not so much. A cold beer on a sunny beach day? 100%. A cold beer at a steak place in new york in December? 0%.

So if you ask do I "care" count me as a gator who cares. Who reads about all the sports. I don't care about football that much on July 4, 2014- does that make me a bad fan?
