In the grande scheme of life - is it important to maintain the code silence or do you tell the truth because morally it is the right thing to do.

If somebody is in a car wreck on the side of the rode do you stop to help or do just drive by and do nothing.

If you accidently hit a person on a bicycle on the side of the road do stop or do you just run away.

If you see a group of students cheating on a test do you say anything or not.

Let us go to the issue with the alleged rape issue at Felon U. You have anybody and everybody within the Leon County line who knows what really happened yet Mr. Crablegs and his fellow sea creatures still roam around campus knowing what they did. Instead of just letting the facts come out truthfully everybody is in coverup mode.

I suppose the issue I would counter with is how much is a good clean conscience to any individual. Seems to me hiding the truth does not get you anywhere in the long run even though there is a segment in society out there who have convinced themselves otherwise.
