I have done them before with my kids at other schools, but thought I'd experience it UF-style since my fiance's daughter got in.  While it is a long, boring, and even grueling two days, I loved it.  I loved the deep and contagious school pride that was on display everywhere.  It was palpable.  I loved hearing the young students talk about why it's the greatest school on the planet. I loved walking into Jennings Hall for the first time since 1979 (the common areas looked smaller than I remembered).  

While I have been back many, many times, this was a great experience because of the perspective.  My fiancé is a Gator too and she loved it as well.  We even took a bus loop tour of the western part of campus that showed some areas I hadn't seen.

what stood out the most was the personalities of the student/preview staff.   Those kids were simply amazing in their excitement and pure enthusiasm, as well their overall poise and ability to interact with adult strangers.

its impossible to leave that experience without being impressed and excited about being a part of the Gator Nation.
