and have been so kind as to express concern, I received my final pathology report yesterday.  It was fantastic news!  Had I only gone with a partial mastectomy to remove the small cancer that was detected by the mammogram, they would have missed two other cancerous area's on that same breast that the mammogram didn't detect, so I would still be facing breast cancer right now, even AFTER the surgery! 

Thankfully, I was blessed to have found out about the cancer soon enough that everything was removed before it had a chance to spread to the lymph nodes!!  I'm dealing with what is hopefully a slight infection post surgery, and have started another antibiotic this evening so I will knock this out before it becomes much of a problem!

My family and friends have been the best support system anyone could ask for, and I feel that I will never be able to thank them enough!!  Thank you to my VS family as well!  

Finally, a big thank you to Mud for providing such a wonderful platform that allows people to come together and provide each other with the support that's needed in a personal time of crisis!
