I was watching in a beach bar/restaurant on the northern Atlantic coast of FLA, and the place went absolutely nuts when Brooks scored the winner!  Was great to see so many people get excited about soccer and their country doing well on the world stage.  

As a guy who has had serious hamstring injuries ( effectively ended my college soccer career), I feel awful for Altidore - he was just coming in to form and his absence is going to cost us, IMO.  Still, the team looked really good in spurts without him.

here in Jax (Avondale)... about 200 people (unplanned)... everyone had a blast until Ghana scored.. then we answered and it spilled out into the street and we looted all the stores on St. Johns Ave.
