Message Replied To ========== So what are we going to do with the beast?--ignore it?-did we create Hitler by getting involved in WW1 and then agreeing to Versailles?--certainly the Brits and French did--should they have ignored the Beast after he took Poland?============================== We had both the will to do something about it (Declaration of war to enter formal combat operations in WWII) AND we were financially able to do it. Now we do not have the will as we are unable to get Congress to formally declare war as is their Constitutional duty AND, if we do it, we will be going it alone without international help and with a federal budget that is already in the red. I can not stress point two more than enough: our current financial state is a worse enemy and bigger threat to the US than Islam. The Islamic terrorists will NEVER be able to destroy us, but our debt and our erosion of privacy and freedom in the name of "security" WILL. |
