But I missed 14km today transporting the sick to our hotel. I don't have enough time to make it up ..not that I missed much, that portion was along the highway.

Where I am is absolutely beautiful ..it is a 17th century farmhouse which has been converted to a bed and breakfast. I am sitting here sipping wine and checking on my 4 patients, pushing Zofran and the Spanish version of Gatorade, waiting for my wife and the rest of our friends to complete today's journey and reach us.

I have had worse assignments!

The Camino de Santiago is awesome . For those who don't think they want the "roughing it " of the Appalachian trail, this is the way to go. There are cafés serving beer, coffee and food every several km and you sleep in a bed in hotels at night, not a tent. Only the young do the hostels.==============================
