Pat Dooley...

Pat was fine and did his thing with not anything we haven't heard or read except the fact that with open practices he has more credibility. He's optmistic, had some good lines and was in good spirits blah blah... one note was Debose has a chance to break a return record this year

Two special guests showed... Quezzie and Carlos!

Quezzie coaches receivers at Lincoln here in clowntown and this was his first trip hanging with the club. He said some nice stuff about trying to help the pipeline to mecca and was really well received as you can imagine.

Carlos as always wows the folks with his words. He is such a well accomplished attorney/mediator that public speaking comes real easy. He talked about being Mr Two Bits at the sow game last fall and how cool it was even though he knew he like all of us in the room might be headed back home for a ration of poop by our clowntown homies. Said when he headed out to midfield it reminded him of coming out of the tunnell his first time. Said the adrenaline rush was so strong he was running and jumping around... and his knees aren't supposed to let him do that... and when he realized it he feared he might go down and needed to calm himself a bit. It was AWESOME to hear.  Then Quezzie came up to the mike with him and shook his hand and said he had never met Carlos in person! So coool seeing two of the Gator greatest receivers meet for the first time. Carlos said Quezzie was great but he thought Percy was the all time greatest receiver at UF because of his versality in so many ways as a playmaker. More importantly he spent a considerable amout of time talking about Coach Muschamp and talking about how very important it is to support him. He feels he has grown considerably as a head coach since his arrival and got specific about several things in the past. He thinks it is going to be different this year and Will is a much different coach than when he arrived. Asked us to support him and the players who he guarantees will give their all to have victories. You could hear a pin drop as our folks have great respect for Carlos's opinion. He also said he knows Jeremy knows how to evaluate his coaches and their progress etc.

I'll let Treybo or other fill in the blanks on his thought or plenty of other stuff that was said... but it was a fun time... the beer was cold, there was plenty of pizza and the Gators in Clowntown are ready for some football.
