way to prevent it in the future.  Of course, it may never happen again, either.  Had there been an earlier scheduled starting time, perhaps there would have been the opportunity to get in more of the game, perhaps not.  Again, no guarantees.  I understand the reasoning behind the lightening rule, as frustrating as it is when the result is what happened last night.  Sometimes, things just happen in life and we accept them and move on, recognizing that there really is no need to "fix" something.
