Message Replied To ========== that's the point--it's FLA and we never even THOUGHT a game could be cancelled despite the rule changes--we were not ready and had no plan, no strategy.........if we did the tickets or orders would say what happens if.....and with the rule changes pretty inevitable in FLA in Sept or if a Hurricane comes--(they have Hurricanes in FLA?)============================== absurd. Yes, it rains in Florida. Yes, there have been games cancelled because of hurricanes either coming or just hit. But, as far as I know, in all the years we've been playing football there has never been a cancellation like last night. Apparently, from reading Donna's posts, they do have insurance to cover this to some extent as she said, "hopefully, we'll break even". I'll give them some credit for having the insurance. (Would love to know what the cost of the premium for that.) Anyhow, rant on....I'll bet not once before this did you ever think of such a circumstance.....and you've lived in Florida all your life. |
