"How many FB games did Jameis Winston miss due to suspension?"

I didn't really get involved in that suspension debate, and I see both sides

But the biggest factor to me in how I view this (and how I feel outsiders can view this) is Muschamp clearly wasn't lifting suspensions because he felt we needed the competitive advantage those players might offer to help us win the next game.  If we played an SEC game Saturday, then his motives could possibly come into question.  The fact he decided to do this before a presumably (your opinions may differ) less than equally matched team, says to me he felt the players were sufficiently punished via the embarrassment, additional punishments during the week, the lack of involvment in game prep, and generally maybe through their individual contrition leading up the Idaho game.  And that is good enough for me.

Had this happened before a bigger game, it may have felt more Bowdenesque to me.  But given our opponent, it just doesn't bother me and I trust the justification.

==============================

I see only one side to this and that's Will Muschamp's side. (and I don't always agree with him and have been vocal on this Board about Will needing to tone down the yelling bit).

But Coach 'Champ's handling of this suspension is within his discretion. And he's done right here.

The 3 suspended players missed dressing out for the first game. They missed the walk. They didn't get as many reps in practice. They were publicly embarrassed. I don't know if they were on the sideline last Saturday night or not, nor do I care.

They served their suspension. It is not their fault that the game was cancelled after a 4.5 hour delay (which I attended and stayed for). So those criticizing Coach are essentially asking for a 1 game ban to be made a 2 game ban. Absurd.

Meanwhile, while we're flogging ourselves, fans of the Team out West are doing a good enough job ripping Will for the suspension. They of course have a guy who stole from Publix (some of those a-holes still stick to the "he meant to pay but had fans flocking him" lie despite the video), stole sodas from a fast food joint, raped--errr, had "consensual" sex with a drunk co-ed whilst his roomate video taped it on his cell phone (since deleted--how convenient), and refused to answer questions about that Dec. 2012 incident even when the SA said no charges would be pressed.

Famous Rapeis didn't miss a down due to suspension.

So with all sincerity, I tell my Nole friends harping on this to go fellate themselves. And I have even stronger words for my Gator friends who harp on this but I won't share them on a family board.

It's done. Move on people. Go Gators.
