Message Replied To ========== Revised post... Muschamp did what just about any other college coach would do in this day and age. And that says more about the crummy state of college athletics than it does Muschamp. Nobody outside the Gator program will accept the position pushed by the administration and on this board. We get the "for the Idaho game"...but that's a bull#badword# excuse. Think about it like this, if a kid has detention for Monday, but Monday turns out to be a snow day, that detention is not forgiven. The kid will have detention on Tuesday. It really is that simple. Again, I don't think Muschamp is a bad coach for doing this. I don't think he is a bad person for doing this either. Any other coach would probably do the same. I've said that multiple times. But it doesn't make it the right thing to do. With all of that said, this matter will blow over and be forgotten in...about 30 seconds following the kickoff on Saturday (which I pray happens, and results in a completed match). ============================== |
