Message Replied To ========== We all saw the same video. We all have the facts. You are the one justifying domestic violence by comparing Ray Rice's fiancee to a violent aggressor. Pathetic and sad.============================== Perhaps there was physical contact initiated by Rice immediately prior and not caught on camera, which I doubt, but even that doesn't excuse her escalating the situation, nor is there any evidence to excuse Rice from far worse punishment than he has already received. It is obvious neither one of them know how to behave as a civil human being. He didn't simply defend himself from attack he responded in brutal, overwhelming and unjustifiable fashion. But it is undeniable she was an aggressor who precipitated the violence if we are to believe the video catches all physical contact relevant to this event. Just as most of us have been taught to never hit a woman, women should be taught to never hit anyone, men included, especially a first strike. Physical violence as a reaction to the behavior of others is wrong and inexcusable in adults no matter if it is a man or a woman doing the hitting. I would think even without her pressing the issue that the police have to be aware of this video and could file charges based on it. Against both of them. They are both criminals. They are both victims. Victims of their own ignorance and inability to behave as mature adults. |
