Last night's win over UK was an unexpected thriller I won't forget and the Gators are huge underdogs next week in Tuscaloosa. Still, we are 2-0 and I have hope. Predicting failure now would ruin the fun of attending games this season and hardly make me an original prognosticator here.

For now, I prefer to recall another fourth down scoring pass in 1993 against Kentucky by a quarterback who was not perfect but came of age in that game. We have never had an undefeated season and likely will not this year, but we haven't lost yet.

Being right by concluding our coach will fail means nothing, not even to my pride; and it certainly wouldn't make me unique. I just want to enjoy this season until there is a reason that I can't.
