great effort. Sometimes you win ugly. The key word there is "win".

I saw a lot to build on and a lot to be excited about.  Driskel is Driskel but he did some good things.  He's still thinking too much out there running the new offense. Stoops knows what he's doing on defense and they have much better talent than people are giving them credit for, on both sides of the ball. And we don't have quite as much talent as people think we do, or that talent is inexperienced in the case of the secondary.

Our team has been practically un-watchable for a few years now. The first half was what we had seen previously, ugly and and mistake filled. But this team woke up in the second half with their backs against the wall and our offense, yes, our offense, found a way to win this game.

To the neutral observer it was an exciting game and fun to watch, and we pulled out the win.  Sorry, but I just can't get down on Muschamp or this team for gutting out a good win in an exciting game. The ball bounces funny sometimes and it bounced funny on Saturday night. We were the better team and we persevered and overcame adversity. LOVED THE EFFORT! We can win several more games with that type of effort, and we WILL improve with that kind of effort. And if you don't see offensive improvement then you can't be helped, you just need to watch NFL or something. The offensive position coaching, philosophy and play calling are vastly improved. BAMA will still beat us but nobody should have any delusions about us competing at their level. We aren't at their level.  Very few teams are right now.  But I now believe that Muschamp, with Roper, can get us where we want to be as quickly as any coach we could bring in to start over again. We'll see what happens the rest of the season, and we will lose a few games no doubt, but we are going to win some too and go bowling.

Saturday night was a fresh start, not the beginning of the end.
