In reality, we still control our own destiny. We will likely meet Bama again in the first round of the playoff (aka SECCG) (and possibly once more in the final game). We just need to run the table against the #17, #12, #13, #1 and #3 teams in country while not looking past Tennessee, Mizzou and Vanderbilt. No problem. We got the recruits to make it happen. All the pieces are there for a turn around...

But a far better dose of reality hits me when I consider how those recruits are playing, or rather, not getting the opportunity to play. I've been a strong supporter of this coaching staff and Jeff Driskel, but even I have to recognize that something is terribly wrong. A good coach would have put Treon Harris in the Bama game by the 2nd half. A great coach might have recognized the benefits beforehand and rotated them every series (ala Johnson/Brindise).

Instead, we watched Muschamp remain unapologetic for not trying something new at qb and blaming everyone else on the team for his inability to make anything happen. I do not know what is wrong with Jeff. He lit the world on fire in high school. He has the size. He has the arm strength. He even has decent speed for a dual threat qb... however even Treon is 3/10 of a second faster in the 40. God knows Will Grier can run also. We got two of the highest rated qbs sitting the pine while the other is floundering around the field. One or both of them should be given serious game time against UT regardless of how Jeff does. If not, this coaching staff has lost all the respect I am clinging to.

Reality sometimes sucks... Better days are ahead of us. This team still has a chance to be something special. I will continue to hang onto that point until I see they have given up on themselves.
