Lets start with the medical care aspect. The projections of overwhelmed emergency rooms, inbility to retain your doctor, specialist fleeing from practice all seem to have, well, not occourred on any scale that has affected the average persons access to care.

So care remains basically the same and millions more have access. So far, so good. Why is Scott still campaining against Obamacare?==============================

1.  Most of the "painful" aspects keep getting put off . . . like the "doc fix" with Medicare.  These painful aspect are what are supposed to make the system solvent.  All the kicking it down the road means it will never be solvent.

2.  What is happening in your world is not necessarily what is happening in the wider world.  Chemo has given chapter and verse of what is happening.  Some of what is happening is a migration from private practice to groups like Hospitals.  Once again government is creating less competition, too big to fail and in the end higher prices (even if some of the population gets kickbacks to mitigate that).
