and I apologize if my initial thoughts have been beaten to death already.

1. Amazing performance by the defense. As bad as they looked two weeks ago, they looked almost as good the other direction this week. Looks like we found a couple of future stars, too. Game ball to the D.

2.  The offense was just as ineffective with Driskel as it had been versus Alabama. At no point with Driskel in the game did I feel like we would even threaten to score points. It seemed like Roper had taken the deep throws out of the game-plan, and we had no big-play capability at all. The fact that Muschamp waited so long in this game to put Harris in concerns me greatly.  On the other hand, that Muschamp did go with Harris when we got our first real scoring opportunity tells me he didn't second guess the decision even though it might be our only chance to get back in the game and making the change might blow up in his face if the Harris screwed it up. Gutsy move at that point - but one Muschamp had to make.

 3. Harris did not screw it up  - and in fact made plays that led to scores. He got results, and that's what we weren't getting from Driskel. It was an impressive thing to come in cold off the bench and bring us back from the brink and get the win. I think Harris deserves the LSU start and should get to keep the job until he plays his way out of it. In other words -- until he shows that he can't handle it.

Driskel has been given every opportunity to succeed and is simply not getting it done. We need to give the next guy a chance to show he can. Give Harris the start.
