I was on the Treon bandwagon long before anybody else except Ice and Treon's mama and other family members, and I still am. But Driskel is the guy the coaches and team had to turn to when the news hit, and he is the one who busted his tail to get ready for this game despite a lot of negativity.  He didn't quit, he got ready to play.

I'm hoping something good will come out of this, because Driskel had just about been left for dead when Treon saved the day at Tennessee. But the team saw that if anything happened to Treon then Driskel was right back in the starting role and was their guy who they needed to support to win. The way Driskel handled this by stepping back up has to count for something, and I hope the perception of him by his teammates has changed. Same with the fans. I know it has changed my perspective.
