| The BG program. He was so proud to sit in that old Bull Gator box. He had the most God-Awful Bull Gator statue in his living room that UF gave him commemorating his 25th anniversary in the program (my mom hated that thing). He hung the "Praying Danny Wuerffel" painting over it. A UF grad, he had four children graduate from UF and 8 from the next generation. The BG contribution wasn't insignificant to him. He was comfortable but the check meant something to him. He died today. I'll miss watching games with him and am disappointed his last experience was last nights game. We'll bury him in full Gator colors and play the 52-20 game tape during the service. |
